Early Years Funding

There are several funded entitlements for children aged 9months+ up until age 5.  Find out what support and funding may be available for you by clicking on the links below.

• Early Learning for 2 year olds - 15 hours funded entitlement
• Universal 15 hours entitlement for 3-4 year olds
• Working Parent Entitlement - 30 hours for 9 months until school age for eligible families

Help and Support with Childcare Costs

There are a number of ways in which families can obtain help and support with childcare costs. Various schemes are available for both working families and for those who may be in receipt of specific qualifying benefits and/or have a low income.  Some of these schemes do not just help with the early years but can continue to be used towards wrap-around care once your child attends school.
