School of Family (Family Week)

We held our second Annual Family Week from Monday 5th November 2018 to Friday 9th November 2018.

We held our second Annual Family Week from Monday 5th November 2018 to Friday 9th November 2018 and what a wonderful success it was with over 142 parents taking part in sessions across the week.

Each session had three "wow" activities that parents could take part in with their children; everything from science experiments and large scale group art works to an outing to West Ham Park to learn about Maths activities you could do with your children outdoors. We are really proud of the wonderful feedback we received and we look forward to offering our families more opportunities to take part in activities with their children in the nursery.

Please continue reading further for some of the wonderful feedback we received:

"It was an amazing session. It's just wonderful to get to see other traditions and to see how people celebrate in their culture."

"Extremely happy with this event. Very wel organised. I've got to see an inside of how my daughter is around the other kids and I see how happy she is."

"What a lovely session. My daughter loved the activities and the food, trying different cultural dish and we found out what other nations have for national dress or costumes."

"We were quite happy to play together for the disco dance. I also found that my little baby is changing; I can see she is not that shy anymore."

"Really enjoyed the session - liked how the activities wer in different locations and how everyone was encouraged to be involved. Lots of things to see and do. Time went fast! Would enjoy attending future sessions if they become available."

"My son loves the outdoor facilities available for him and the messy play as well. We really enjoyed ourselves. I have found all the staff to be very friendly, warm and genuinely caring. Very well organised."

"It was a very helpful experience for parents to learn to develop children's motor sills for writing. I also enjoyed the session."

We sincerely thank all the parents/carers for taking the time to join in our activities and we look forward to offering more experiences throughout the year.
