On the 3rd October 2019, we were very happy to welcome the Chief Executive and Head of Paid Service, Althea Loderick along with other Newham councillors and key staff members.

The purpose of the visit was to give her an insight into the wonderful work that we do at Rebecca Cheetham; from the services and support delivered from the Children’s Centre team to the fantastic learning and nurturing provided by the Nursery.

We were able to give everyone a tour of the building whilst we talked about the outreach and partnership working we do with different agencies to impact positive outcomes for children and their families. We were also able to discuss the challenges we are faced with and inform her of the things that are working well.

In a time where the future of nursery funding is uncertain, we actively welcome the support and interest of such an influential member of the Newham council.
