During March, our wonderful Jeffers Room Key Person, Ruma led the children through Science Week and explored a world of exciting science experiments with the children.

Throughout our time spent looking at growth in the nursery (growth of ourselves, life cycle of a plant, metamorphosis of a caterpillar and the life cycle of a chicken, we adopted some "Living Eggs" so children could see, first hand the experience of chicks hatching from eggs.
This year we launched our Enrich / Empower / Evolve Programme with the children and we are already having some wonderful success.

We were thrilled to welcome the Chief Executive of Newham Council to our Nursery and Children's Centre.
Eight of our amazing staff at Rebecca Cheetham Nursery and Children's Centre brave the cold, wet and grey conditions on Saturday 12th October 2019 to run 5kms in support of Great Ormond Street Hospital who do so much fantastic work with sick children and their families.
