At Rebecca Cheetham, we have our annual ‘Family Week’ and I am pleased to say this is a success every year. ‘Family Week’ has given us an opportunity to work together with parents to get the best out of the children, giving them plenty of opportunities to thrive through their learning.  This also links back to our aims as a school which is part of our ethos – “Forging forces to give children the best start in life.”

We believe it is important that parents take part in all of the many opportunities we offer to get involved with their children’s learning and development. This is why we hold many activities and events so you can take part and join us in helping your children develop and grow.

Our activities are thought through thoroughly, linking our objectives to the EYFS. Our prime areas: communication and language, physical development, and personal, social and emotional development and the specific areas: literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design will give you an insight on how we plan as a team.

Each session will be linked to what we are teaching about which gives you a chance to take part in their learning. The sessions will be planned and led by our amazing staff. The sessions are enriched, from healthy eating to science explosions and to tasting exotic food from different countries.
